Kostas Matheos Gilbert, LPC, LPAT, CSAT

I was born and raised in Jackson, Mississippi. I went to the University of Mississippi for undergraduate school and then found my way out to New Mexico where I got a Master’s degree in Art Therapy from Southwestern College. I was introduced to art therapy when I was in 9th grade at Jackson Prep. I was in art class, and our teacher asked us what we wanted to be when we grew up. I remember saying, “I have no idea, but definitely something related to art and helping people!” She told me about art therapy and from then on I knew what I wanted to do with my life.
