RESOURCES
For far too long those most affected by alcohol and other drug problems have been absent from the public policy debate. Faces & Voices of Recovery was founded in 2001to organize and mobilize the millions of Americans in long-term recovery from alcohol and other drug addictions to speak with one voice. The organization is dedicated to changing public perceptions of recovery, promoting effective public policy in Washington and in all 50 states, and demonstrating that recovery is working for millions of Americans.
Join Together is a program of the Boston University School of Public Health. Since 1991 it has been the nation's leading provider of information, strategic planning assistance, and leadership development for community-based efforts to advance effective alcohol and drug policy, prevention, and treatment. We believe problems associated with alcohol and drugs can be best addressed at the community level.
The Johnson Institute represents a long history of encouraging and perfecting more appropriate and timely responses to alcoholism and drug addiction. Its leadership in the chemical dependency field spans 40 years and is continuing to eliminate barriers to recovery today.
